Temperment

Typically, sheepadoodles are wonderful family dogs that love attention and children even more. They're exceptionally playful and sweet, and they enjoy the company of other dogs.

With a little amount of training, the Sheepadoodle puppies has no trouble understanding the master's command. They don't like being shouted at and is slightly stubborn too. They are very loyal, gentle, playful, and great with children of all ages. Health: the Sheepadoodles are generally healthy.

Sheepadoodles can have a lot of prey drive and might not be the best fit for families with small pets such as cats, guinea pigs or toy dogs. Sheepadoodles will hunt anything small. While Sheepadoodles enjoy being active with their owners, they usually settle down quite a bit after their puppy stage.

Requirements

Sheepadoodles are an active and playful breed. They require daily exercise, play, and activity to be a happy and healthy dog. A minimum of 30 minutes per day should be given to your Sheepadoodle puppy to exercise through walks, playing, fetch, etc.

They are a great low-maintenance medium-sized breed that only requires basic training to be exceptional. They do require grooming so their fur doesn't get matted, but besides that, they are low shedders and hypoallergenic.

Contrary to popular belief, low or non-shedding dogs require far more grooming than those who shed naturally. Non-shedding dogs still 'molt' or lose their hair, however they require regular grooming to remove this hair and to prevent matts and tangles.
